Matias Whiteley is a pianist and handpan player with a passion for bringing music to life through improvisation. He studied at Berklee College of Music, where he deepened his passion for jazz, world music, and expressive performance.

On piano, Matias has a dreamy, improvisational style inspired by legends like Bill Evans, Erroll Garner, Wynton Kelly, and Red Garland. Jazz standard Giant Steps showcases his technical mastery and improvisational depth. He enjoys playing across many jazz styles—from lively bebop to gentle ballads—with a special love for bossa nova.

His handpan work explores meditative, atmospheric soundscapes that complement his piano artistry, creating a unique and immersive musical experience.
